(ingiliscə - intermediate reference system sky and the earth - aralıq səma və yer istinad sistemləri) geosentrik istinad sistemləri - Aralıq Səma İstinad Sistemi (Celestial Intermediate Reference System, CIRS) və Aralıq Yer İstinad Sistemini (Terrestrial Intermediate Reference System, TIRS) ehtiva edir. Onlar bir səma aralıq qurşağı (Celestial Intermediate Pole, CIP) birləşdirir. CIP qurşağına aralıq səma ekvator uyğundur. Bu GCRS və ITRS arasındakı əlaqə üçün təqdim edilmiş və 1 yanvar 2003-də qüvvədədir.
