Abstract

FERROUS INDUSTRY IN AZERBAIJAN:

STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT AND PROSPECTS

Purpose: Analysis of proporities, current state and development perspectives of ferrous industry of Azerbaijan in the context of World experience and challenges of globalization.

Design/methodology: The methodology of the research is based on a factor analysis, estimation and statistical methods.

Findings: In the paper, it has been researched development perspectives of ferrous industry of the World and Azerbaijan in the context of challenges of globalization.

Research limitations: It is related to short phasing of new development trends in the appropriate direction and some insufficient statistical indicators.

Practical implications: Using as scientific source for researches about modern ferrous industry of the World and Azerbaijan

Originality/value: For the first time, it has been analyzed and assessed development perspectives of ferrous industry of Azerbaijan in the context of challenges of globalization.
