NUCLEAR POWER: ENVIRONMENTAL AND ECONOMIC ESTIMATES AND PROSPECTS

Abstract

Purpose: Evaluation of technical and technological, environmental and economic performance characteristics of nuclear power in today's globalization and the analytical representation of the important aspects of the prospects for this segment in the development of system of national energy.

Methodology: Factor, evaluation and statistical analysis methods.

Findings: 1. Estimate of safety of nuclear power in the technical, technological, environmental, and economic contexts in today's globalization. 2. Research study of the prospects of rational use of branching in the direction of sources of national energy security.

Research limitations: In can mainly be restricted and confidential note the specificity of the system of economic and statistical indicators, the information base object of the research topic.

Practical implications: Ability to use as a research source framework transition to nuclear energy in the direction of ensuring national energy security.

Originality: According to the global appeals, the first time has been evaluated and analyzed the prospects of using nuclear energy in national energy development in technical, technological, environmental and economic aspects.
