Abstract

ECONOMIC AND STATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF THE DYNAMICS AND

IMPROVEMENT OF METHODS OF FORECASTING IN ENERGY SYSTEM

Purpose: For near perspective, to determine the demand of electric energy of Azerbaijan on base the analysis of the dynamics of electric consumption and improvement of its estimating methods.

Design/methodology: The research methodology is on base econometric methods. The analysis and evaluations are consist of economical, statistical and factual methods.   

Findings: The estimation of demand of electric energy of Azerbaijan Republic for 2011-2015.  

Research limitations/implications: The estimations of economic development are restricted by 2015.

Practical implications: The results may be used in estimation of energy-intensity of GDP, in arrangement of energy balances, in determination of demand of electric energy and in tax planning in energy sector in Azerbaijan Republic. 

Originality/value: Evaluation of energy-intensity of GDP and, improvement of methods of demand of electric energy in Azerbaijan Republic.
