Abstract

Theoretical foundations of the formation and development of the world economy and study of its practical problems, as well as the internationalization and globalization trends, international capital flows, features of the world commodities and services market, pricing processes in this market, monetary and financial relations, development rates and proportions and other actual problems are reflected in the textbook.

Numerous statistical and analytical materials describing the features of the world economy are in-cluded in the textbook and issues on the natural resources, scientific, technical and human capacities, present situation of the economy, comparison of macroeconomic indicators, the strengths and weak-nesses of basic and infrastructure sectors, environmental problems, forms and methods of the state reg-ulation of economic processes, deepening of the integration and directions of the strategic development in the different countries are represented by a broad scientific exposition.

Specificity and important feature of the textbook is associated with the place and role of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the international labor division, analyzing and presenting the prospects of deepening its integration into the world economy.
