In the published item a question of creation inAzerbaijanalternative energy sources has been investigated. Examining the prospects of oil sector enlargement, the author points out the necessity of investment of part of Oil Fund capital in the development of alternative energy projects. The scientist considers constructing of atomic power-plant inAzerbaijanas one the forms of realization of the given idea, also points out expediency of formation of the new policy in the energy strategy of the country.
