Abstract

Important natural energy resources of Azerbaijan have contributed to the transition to a new economic model in the context of green energy potential. The role of its improving energy infrastructure in this series is also highly appreciated. At present, along with crude oil and natural gas resources, the country also exports a wide range of petrochemical products and electricity. In the near future, electricity exports will be fundamentally based on green energy. This is due to its growing green energy potential. Green energy resources of the liberated territories increase this potential even more. As a result, these areas were declared a green energy zone and huge projects were launched here. All this, in turn, becomes the basis for building a green economy, and important strategic steps are being taken in this direction in the country. The relevant issue expands research in the scientific circle. In this regard, priority issues such as assessment of the growing energy power in Azerbaijan based on the green economy scenario, provision of the country with natural resources, energy security, national oil strategy, new energy policy, green economy, national green energy potential, green growth concepts have become the object of research in the article.
